In a close race, Winter Springs lawyer John Horan knocked out incumbent Mike McLean of Lake Mary to win a seat on the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners. Horan received 50.85 percent of the more than 35,000 votes cast, while McLean claimed 49.15 percent.
